Death of TCM?

 

Not to TCM but to me there shall be!

 

Why? No one asked but I get to voice it.

 

Last Night was the cake for me.

 

2 words actually: Alec Baldwin

 

Now the particulars.

 

I can't stand Mankiewicz. His smugness is typical of his liberalism, which wouldn't make his ancestor proud to see him spout his drivel.. I'm still watching a new episode of The Essentials each week with a pregnant Drew Barrymore. It's not the fact that I DO get to see re-runs of the same movie now within 2-3 weeks like this topic was mentioning, It's the fact that MY Sat. Bill has me PAYING EXTRA for this channel and I've reached my limit. I can and shall drop my service and spend the $112/mo. on DVD's and just be done with it.

 

Pretty much everyone knows Hollywood is overflowing like a sewer of rats with Liberals, but bringing back Baldwin was the final straw for me. Look around these last 2 days of Duck Dynasty should let you know that AMERICA has reached a limit and has decided to speak out.

 

Ben I wouldn't stop to dribble on you if you were on fire. How you make a living off of this gig is a miracle. But then again, you're a communist masquerading as a human.

 

Last sentence is too mention that I'll be watching to see how long my post remains visible, because TCM is KNOWN to edit that which makes them squirm uncomfortably.

NO, what actually happened was all this time you thought your dear Alec had it all together, he was on top of it, he knew EVERYTHING and suddenly you just found out where it all really came from. I bet you haven't missed a showing of 30Rock. I have, I've never seen it, I don't base my comment on anything other than him sitting in that Red Leather chair and spewing garbage, his garbage that nothing has gone on in hollywood without his knowledge.

 

THEN you throw in political views,, that's another good way to divert a topic. Your REAL good at trolling I think you've done this a lot. Lets now toss in Ben Mankiewicz, Frank Sinatra and oh,, say Walter Brennan, and the word racist to further dilute a topic. You've said more about yourself by trying to not say anything.

Each month you have a list of the films that will be shown... So pick one movie that is coming up.. then Wikipedia that film and follow thru on the Actors..

 

now sit back and watch Alec repeat verbatim what you had already read about that movie.

WHY, WHY Robert can't you bring in a Director that has some cache and is willing to sit for taping and explain the era's of the movie's you show? You embarrassed yourself with Rose McGowan on. You had REAL people that work for TCM give honest opinion's of why they picked what they did. But to subject people who have spent more time watching movies than Alec had diddled on the sidewalks, you cheapen the intros to those movies. It use to be he irritated me, now he makes me grind my teeth and mute him or watch ANYTHING else for the first 5 Min's or so of the program and maybe miss a lot than to sit their and be subjected to his analysis.

 

I doubt TCM nor Robert skims over these comments, as you have to physically send a land letter to him. But I HAD to make this account just to voice my total displeasure with Alec anymore. Only one movie of his i semi-liked was Red October and that was when it came out, now time has shown it to be a B-Flic in my opinion.
