  1. hahaha actually those three things look like the old one piece rotary phones, i think they were called ericofons. they do look sorta phallic. this movie was pretty dumb except for zsa zsa. i actually enjoyed Village of the Giants more.

  2. The Sweet Ride, You Are What You Eat, I Love You, Alice B. Toklas, Night of the Living Dead, Green Berets starring the Duke (i think it was the first movie that dealt with nam) Wild In The Streets starring Christopher Jones, The Glory Stompers starring Dennis Hopper,

does tcm ever show The Girl on a Motorcycle, that movie with Marianne Faithful?

  3. jeanne crain was pretty sexy in Hot Rods to Hell. this movie was awesome and really campy at the same time, like when they're getting chased in the family car by the teenage hot rodders and they're acting like they're about to die, that part was supposed to be real suspensful and dramatic but it was also kind of hilarious!

Weren't both the daughter (laurie mock) and the girl in the hotrod (mimsy farmer) also in Riot on Sunset Strip that same year? tcm should play THAT gem more often.

  4. cinemageddon.net told me this:

    "Sorry

The current user account limit (21,000) has been reached.

Accounts are deleted every 30 minutes, you can either wait for a slot to open or obtain an invite from a registered user. "

so if u are a registered user with cinemageddon.net mabey u could invite me somehow

i just really want to see this movie again or download it somewhere. the dvd is impossible to find

  5. TCM should play this movie cause i can't find it anywhere.

After years of neglect, half-brothers Stefane and Antony (James Fox, John Alderton) decide to steal their unloving father's hefty fortune. But first, they enlist the help of cunning ex-crook Duffy (James Coburn), who is intrigued by the cash, and even more so, by Stefane's lovely girlfriend, also in on the heist. While the plan runs smoothly, a strange mix-up in the aftermath leads Duffy to question the motives of his new accomplices. Susannah York, James Mason also star in this comedy. 101 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.

    Category: Comedy Director: Robert Parrish

Cast: John Alderton, James Coburn, Guy Deghy, Peter van Dissel, Carl Duering, James Fox, Tutte Lemkow, Marne Maitland, James Mason, Steve Plytas, Susannah York

    that is all.

  6. you bet your sweet bippy i did..

i never seen Once Upon a Horse either. Every once in a while tcm shows a short movie called 'Rowan and Martin at the Movies', there's no bikini-clad Goldie dancing around tho. its just a public service short for U.S. savings bonds.

  7. I was watching the first frankie and annette movie, Beach Party (1963) earlier, and the part when Dr. Sutwell walks into Cappy's Place, the local surf hangout. Cappy and two beatnik chicks are sitting on the floor meditating..

Cappy (eyes closed): "Go away, we're closed."

Dr. Sutwell: "are you doing zen?"

    Cappy: "no i'm sleeping.."

  8. I WISH TCM SHOWED MORE MOVIES LIKE THESE DURING THE SUMMERTIME. THEY'RE NOT THE GREATEST CINEMATIC ACHIEVEMENTS BY ANY STRETCH, BUT THESE MOVIES ARE FUN. PLUS I LISTED THEM ALPHABETICALLY:

    BEACH BALL (1965)

CATALINA CAPER (a.k.a. NEVER STEAL ANYTHING WET) 1967

    DUFFY (1968)

DR. GOLDFOOT AND THE BIKINI MACHINE (1965)

GHOST IN THE INVISIBLE BIKINI, THE (1966)

GIRLS ON THE BEACH, THE (1965)

HOW TO STUFF A WILD BIKINI (1965)

    SURF PARTY (1963)

    SWINGIN' SUMMER (1965)

    WILD ON THE BEACH (1965)

IF YOU COULD PLAY AT LEAST ONE OF THESE MOVIES IT WOULD BE SO GROOVY

    THANKS TCM,

    ROWANMARTIN68

    P.S. SOCK IT TO ME

any other french new wave fans out there?

  11. i wouldn't mind if tcm showed Criss Cross (1949). starring Burt Lancaster and Yvonne DeCarlo. never seen it. here's the plot summary:

Romantic, obsessive Steve Thompson is drawn back to L.A. to make another try for Anna, his former wife. However, Anna belongs now to the L.A. underworld. Steve believes he can rescue her, ignoring the advice and warnings of people who would try to save him. He commits himself to a dangerous course of action that quickly takes everyone somewhere unintended.
