He often said to me of stuff that was in his store "that's not for sale ... no, that's not for sale either." I seem to recall that became a comedy routine on some show where the eccentric owner of the store cherishes everything and won't part with anything. I got a lot of my posters, Paths of Glory, Dr. Strangelove, Bedazzled, Spartacus, Touch of Evil, etc. from a place called Consolidated that was glad to get rid of the stuff. They supplied the theatres with the posters.

I have quite a few but a lot of them are in storage now and not all of them are framed. I mentioned Chinatown in the Hits and Misses thread. This is my pride and joy ... and this Chicago International's Film festival Poster celebrating Orson Welles ... and this ... I had these "tacked" on my wall in high school ...
