ok, so I was watching tcm late night, I believe it was Wed, June 29, they had all Scottish programming and there was supposed to be a movie coming on after Laurel&Hardy aired (<<which I didn't watch haha) called Castle in the Air?? It was SUPPOSED to be about a haunted Scottish castle...... well it never came on. They played instead a movie I've never heard of about a young girl who gets a job in a Hollywood studio as a messenger girl so she can "get discovered". She keeps it secret from her strict grandmother who doesn't approve of Hollywood and actually does get discovered by sheer accident when she is asked to sing an audition. So she ends up getting the part, falling in love with the famous music director, and having to win her disapproving grandmother over. It was actually a great movie! I don't know the name of it since they were supposed to be playing this Castle movie and instead there was some sort of mix up. I can't seem to go back into the archives on the tcm site but maybe it's just because I'm new. Any help would be great Thanks!!
