OK, you're getting us back on track: Liza Minnelli and Robert De Niro, stars of *New York, New York (1977)*
Sorry for the digression but New York was on everyone's minds today. Watching the tribute to 9/11 has been so emotional. I have no brain left, so the thread is open ...
-
No, it's downright hard, but we're still trying to solve your puzzle!
-
Charlton Heston was in *BEN-HUR* with Stephen Boyd.

OK, mr6666 (and all other males out there):
She's your worst nightmare of a blind date. It happened to Gene Kelly.

Wow, aren't you clever, mudskipper? I was thinking about 9/11 and all the great movies featuring NYC, one of which was *Week-end at the Waldorf* (remake of *Grand Hotel*). Robert Benchley is a lovely fusspot looking after his dog in this one.
Your thread now ...

So where has the original question from RainingViolets disappeared to? Her question was, Who said, "My mother thanks you, my father thanks you, my sister thanks you, and I thank you"?? Is this website possessed at times, or is it me? I know I didn't make up the question!!
RainingViolets101, can you still see your original question posted at your end?

That's what I was afraid of! So, back to mr6666 for the new thread ...

*To Catch a Thief (1955)*
next: chimpanzee
-
Clue: it has to do with a physiological abnormality. (If you've seen the movies yourself, it might be easier to catch the similar thread.)
-
Yes, I caught that. As a new games' player, is it usual to have this kind of delay in the system? It's too bad they can't lock a thread as soon as the first person begins to respond. I'm not the only to be caught in doubled-up answers. Is there any special trick to be aware of??
