Yes, I have been able to get my friends interested. It's easier for females, I think, as we can organize a girls' night and just happen to slide in an old classic film to get people hooked. My teenage kids not so much. Sean, in particular, laughs at the high-waisted pants the men all wore; however, when I see something that is noteworthy or might be of interest, I have him watch just a part of a movie, hoping that some day he'll sit through a full movie with me. I kept sharing my excitement about attending the 2012 Classic Film Festival and now one of my girlfriends asked if she could come too. So lookout, Hollywood, Carol and Sally are coming to town!!
