Since only Oscar winners and nominees will be shown in February, are there any Roach shorts besides Laurel & Hardy's The Music Box that were nominated or won the Oscar??? Is there a list on the web listing the past nominees and winners for shorts???

What has happened to Charley Chase? This will make 12 days without a Hal Roach short. By my count there were 59 sound Chase shorts for Roach. I think only 9 have been shown. Does TCM intend to broadcast the other 50???

I missed the following Roach shorts. Thelma Todd PAJAMA PARTY, SNEAK EASILY, Boy Friends MAMA LOVES PAPA, WILD BABIES, Charley Chase ANOTHER WILD IDEA. I have almost all of the other Roach shorts that have been broadcast saved on my TIVO DVR. Anybody want to trade??? Barry.

About 18 minutes in to the film there is a graduation scene. Norman Foster receives his diploma and kneels down to be blessed by Boris Karloff. His voice gives him away.
