  1. *235* "Clark Gable and WHO?!?!?!"
  2. I finally got one - "The Postman Always Rings Twice".
  3. LOL, as soon as I decide to take a short break from this thread, Kid_Dabb posts two pictures in a row that I would have nailed in an instant! :^0
  4. I should quit while I'm ahead. However... "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde"? (Update: didn't see your post, mudskipper - great minds thinking alike tonight...) Edited by: EugeniaH on Feb 17, 2013 7:59 PM
  5. Watson, Bunny - Katharine Hepburn in *Desk Set*
  6. It makes me think of a movie set in the 1800s in England. How close am I?
  7. *ps: Eugenia, thanks again for the J.J. Jackson track.* You're welcome. Oddly enough, I first became aware of this track when Huey Lewis and the News ( ! ) did a cover of it in 1994. It was one of those songs that was so 'infectious' that I got into it immediately. I posted the original to be a "purist" but both versions are good. Here's my quick Boz contribution, my favorite: "Lido Shuffle": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s8l75Oxf1U Edited by: EugeniaH on Feb 17, 2013 6:14 PM
  8. *234* "Don't you dare laugh! As it happens, I need a date for the premiere of 'Beneath the Planet of the Apes', and he was dying to go!"
  9. Traherne, Judith - Bette Davis in *Dark Victory*
  10. Cliff Edwards was in SARATOGA with Jean Harlow
  11. Awfully close, Kid Dabb! I'm thinking of the movie title, with another rhyming word for insult.
  12. A Jewish prince is the target of an insulting remark.
  13. Melvyn Douglas was in TOO MANY HUSBANDS with Jean Arthur
  14. Ditto, flash! I was going to say something at the time but I'm glad that Lav did. I really was "laughing out loud" (LOL). ]
  15. I think I picked it up from Addison's posts. Maybe he's been to India.
  16. I've seen most of the Hitchcock movies, but his most well-known are my favorites - "Psycho" and "The Birds". A total scarefest. I also like "Dial M for Murder". I remember watching "Rear Window" in a hotel in India. They played a lot of Hitchcock movies there. But RW - meh...
  17. Sylvia Sidney was in *Sabotage* with Oskar Homolka
  18. *232* "So, what time do the dancing girls get here?"
  19. *but I'm definitely sticking around cause I'm a huge TCM fan (even though I'm only in my 20s)* I'm glad you're sticking around, diana.
