While browsing YouTube recently I heard this one-hit wonder for the first time in decades. I had barely remembered it, but after listening a couple of times it kind of grew on me again.
"I Couldn't Say No":

In "Ball of Fire", Sugarpuss extends a bare foot/leg to Pottsie and says, "Feel this!" (lol)

In a 1940 expose, scandal sheet True Confessions reveals the real Carole Lombard behind the "screwball" persona... "I'll let Clark free," she sneers, brandishing her rifle, "For a price!"

"Alright, Cohn, you've chased me around the couch long enough!"

Nope - 'twas an expert guess! You're up to bat, Lav.

I'm going to assume hpyglf doesn't want it so I'll take a turn. (My apologies if I made a mistake.)

LOL, as soon as I decide to take a short break from this thread, Kid_Dabb posts two pictures in a row that I would have nailed in an instant! :^0

That reminds me, Lav, of the scene in *Bull Durham* (1988) where Crash Davis paints Annie Savoy's toenails. Kevin Costner... hubba hubba!

Watson, Bunny - Katharine Hepburn in *Desk Set*

It makes me think of a movie set in the 1800s in England. How close am I?

I well remember sometime back we had a lively discussion on the boards of classic films featuring bare feet. I tried to look for it in the archives for you but had no success. Maybe someone else can find it. I didn't take any notes, so I can't remember any of the opinions...

*ps: Eugenia, thanks again for the J.J. Jackson track.*
You're welcome.
Oddly enough, I first became aware of this track when Huey Lewis and the News ( ! ) did a cover of it in 1994. It was one of those songs that was so 'infectious' that I got into it immediately. I posted the original to be a "purist" but both versions are good. Here's my quick Boz contribution, my favorite: "Lido Shuffle":
