  3. ANGEL AND THE BADMAN is a great movie, TB. One of the most underrated westerns ever.

Which means that the suits who decide who to promote aren't music lovers (as in days past), but bean counters. Which is also why movies suck these days. Boy, this thread's gone WAY off-topic!!

How many famous "musicians" could sound this good live nowadays? Music in the 60's & 70's was so much better than the music of my generation. You actually had to be able to sing or play or write to be a famous musician. Now it's all corporate posers. He speaks the language of a rebel With his misinformed attack He wears the clothes of a dissenter But there's a logo on his back. --Don Henley--

  10. 1. The judge in the movie was in real life the first defendent questioned by Joseph McCarthey in which he was able to put McCarthy in his place. It was the judge's testimony that began to finally turn the tide & marked the beginning of the end for McCarthy. I can't remember his name (like I said, he played the judge during the trial of ANATOMY OF A MURDER) or what exactly his position was during the McCarthy hearings. Anybody know more details on this?
