Thanks movieslover, I've been trying to solve this mystery for a while. My son loved this movie and every time I described it to someone, I'd just get a blank stare. Too bad it's not available. I'll see if I can get a friend to record it for me.

[looking for a title]

I watched a movie on TCM April 24,2003. It was about an Irish girl and three old misers who live in her ancestral home. They try to trick her into giving the house up, but she eventually wins their hearts and gets her family house back. The old men hire a troupe of circus midgets to imitate fairies in order to trick the little girl. I missed the beginning of the movie and was never able to find out the title. It's a wonderful kids movie. The young Irish actress was especially charming. I'd appreciate any help.
