TCM PROGRAMMING CHALLENGE #46 - VOTING THREAD
BunnyWhit replied to overeasy's topic in TCM Program Challenges Archive
Thank you, OVEREASY, for providing us with a fun challenge! All your hard work is appreciated! Thanks also to all those who submitted schedules. Your thoughtfulness and hard work shines! There were so many gems submitted in this challenge: CINEMAINTERNATIONAL -- I really like Midcentury Melodramas for the TCM Spotlight; the King of Nepotism: Blake Edwards is inspired; Guest Programer: Waldo Lydecker is a real kick; Star of the Month: Lillian Gish; and those rare Warner Bros. films. What a great schedule! LONESOMEPOLECAT -- Opening with Art Direction by Henry Bumpstead sets such a great tone; I have a real tender spot for my Kansas heritage, so A Trip to Kansas is right up my street; the Classic Movie Spring Playlist just makes me say "wow!". I love this schedule! STEVOMACHINO -- You had me at Takashi Shimura; Falling in Love and Hope Springs Eternal are fabulous groups; I always love state tributes, so honoring Montana is much appreciated; Bibi Andersson as Star of the Month is great. Awesome schedule! LYDECKER -- Murder Most Fowl made me chortle; Silent Child Stars is great; Falling Off the Wagon -- watch that first step, she's a lulu; Nick and Nora Wannabees; Guest Programmer: Effie Perrine is perfection; Ghost Singers; 100 Years of Warner Brothers; Jury Duty; Nazis Can Be Funny. Superb schedule! My vote goes to LYDECKER.
