Thanks, Cinemaman! Producer Gregory Ratoff purchased film rights for Casino Royale from Ian Fleming in 1955. Several events prevented a film from being made, one of which was Ratoff's notion that James Bond should in fact be Jane Bond. He had in mind a particular actress to play the part. Who was she?
