  1. My pictures won't post, but I'll add "10,000 Leagues Under the Sea".....................
  2. Well for me, the only way it can get any better is if Sir Michael Caine puts in an appearance at the festival! Congrats on getting passes for the bus tour.......I was not so lucky. BTW, did you ever find out whether or not there will be an autograph opportunity? I'm packing some dvds in hopes that I can get signatures on them...................
  3. The actress Brett Butler was very impressive..................
  4. If you had not told me this was Axl Rose, I would have never guessed! He has morphed into an entirely different person..............

  6. Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I've always thought she was a beauty. I use Cover Girl eye pencils, and I remember seeing her photos on the displays..................simply stunning. True, sometimes they alter the photos, but one has to have something to work with, and she's got it, imho!
  7. Hi, finance. I'm not being sarcastic, but could you be a little more specific? What don't you get? I would like to respond to you...........
  8. I don't like that half grown out look either.....it must be all the rage; I see quite a few young women with this look. I worked in the beauty industry in my 20's and early 30's. To hairdressers, this look was as bad as chipped nail polish. We used to say, 'either re-polish your nails, or don't wear polish at all.' Now, when I see that half grown out look, I'm thinking, 'either touch up the color, or cut it off and go with the natural hair color.' I'm glad Drew colored her hair; it calls attention to her gorgeous face; she definitely inherited the fabulous Barrymore genes..............
  9. May she rest in peace..................
  10. Oh wow, I can't believe you posted this! I just watched 7 episodes the other night on Youtube, and I watch it every day on Maryland Public Television. The entire cast is hilarious; I became a fan of this show about 10 years ago. Just like "I Love Lucy", it never gets old, imho. There is even a youtube video of outtakes. My other favorite British show is "Doc Martin". I've just started watching "Midsummer Murders", and this is my second season of "Downton Abbey". I'm going to watch "Sherlock" for the first time this Sunday; I'm really looking forward to it. Perhaps while I'm watching, I will have some 'tea and light refreshments'........................
  11. I agree 100%, Tom! He scared the h*ll out of me...........................
  12. This is the first film that came to mind.............excellent, IMHO. This is my son's favorite film; he declares this is the best movie ever made (of course, he has never seen a classic film!)
  13. Right.........I found this gem about 7 or 8 years ago at Barnes and Noble. I had never seen the film before, and the dvd cover advertised it as a romantic comedy. I started to leave it on the shelf. I'm not fond of romantic comedies, but being a die-hard Natalie Wood, Gene Tierney and George Sanders fan, I decided to take a chance and add it to my collection. I'm sure glad I did! The film is so far removed from the tv series emotionally; it's extremely poignant, and boasts one of the best film scores ever. I still get tears in my eyes when I watch it.............
