  1. So, in OTHER words it appears Richard made so many enemies during his lifetime in Jolly Ole Blighty that his descendants figured it MIGHT be best to leave town ASAP, eh MissW?!
  2. That'd be a decent alternative, I suppose. (...though of course they'd have to work the word "scoliosis" into the lyrics somehow!")
  3. Sounds good, Fred. Tell ya what! The next time I visit my old stompin' grounds of L.A., I'll be sure to head over to the Pico-Union area of town and see if I can catch this one at one of the cinemas there! (...I mean if Sturges can make a half-way decent remake of "Seven Samurai" usin' a bunch of round-eyes like Brynner and McQueen, then how bad can THIS one be, HUH?!) 4. Okay Fred, if you're gonna go on here and now tell me that this baby stars Clint Jong-il, Lee Sung-Cleef AND Eli Yung-Wallach, then I'll KNOW you're puttin' me on here AND that you've mastered the art of Photoshopping!!! (...okay, no...I haven't heard of this one...but then again, Korean cinema isn't exactly my forte)
  5. Would that be the Kansas City Chiefs after winning Super Bowl IV ?
  6. Yeah Liam, and with Joni Mitchell singing over the opening credits, "They paved over me and put in a parking lot", I presume???
  7. And I was thinkin' more a young Michael Rennie. (...but I don't think either one of us is correct, twinkeee)
  8. Hmmm...well I could be wrong here Bild, but as I recall on at least two of those plays Kaepernick was in the backfield alone, and thus allowing the Ravens' Defense the knowledge that the plays were going to be passing plays. I also recall the Niner's having great success especially in the second half with there being two runningbacks in their backfield along with Kaepernick, gving him not only added blocking in case of a Ravens blitz, but also making the Ravens defense guess a little more in the possibilities of the coming play being a play-action pass, a hand-off to one of the halfbacks OR even a QB keeper, which of course Kaepernick is excellent at.
  9. AND, let us not forget that stirring rendition of "America, The Beautiful" performed by Jennifer Hudson and the choir of kids from New Town CT, just before Alicia sang our National Anthem. It could have only been my impression, but I thought a few of Jennifer's riffs channeled another great and memorable rendition of that song done by the incomparable Ray Charles.
  10. Watched it, loved it...though being from the West Coast(and from a city that doesn't have a NFL team anymore because of "That Woman"..guess which city I'm talkin' about here! ), I was rootin' for the team that didn't quite finish their comeback. And because you folks here who haven't a football bone in your body missed watching it, you ALSO missed a few(but JUST a few) decent SB commercials this year, and of which the following Audi car commercial I found the best of the lot.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANhmS6QLd5Q&csref=92225226266327849
  11. LOL However twinkeee, I don't know if this would necessarily apply to Joyce here. I mean I don't think she was all THAT hard on the ol' eyes, wouldn't ya say?!...
  12. Yeah Fred?! Well THIS is the JOYCE Randolph I know best!!!
  13. Wow! You're good, dark!!! So, once again tell me here, was it the clue I gave earlier, or did you just recognize the original "Chuck Cunningham" from the picture right off?
  14. OH! So THAT'S why RAF General Arthur Travers "Bomber" Harris consistently placed this German film on his Top Ten Best Foreign Language Films List, eh Fred?!!!
  15. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's June Lockhart. (...and the dream she is dreaming was about FOR ONCE not havin' to worry about Timmy fallin' into a well AGAIN and havin' her dog save her idiot son's life yet again!!!)
  16. Yeah, I suppose you might be CLOSE with that assessment Mr. Quad Six(and that might be an excellent clue to boot ), but what's the name?
  17. Hmmm..."What's her name"???!!! I didn't know Stephanie Powers ever played second base?!!! (...I thought she only played the outfield!!!)
  18. Melinda "You'll shoot your eye out" Dillon Edited by: Dargo2 on Feb 3, 2013 7:13 PM
  19. I believe you should have added the phrase "the ageless" between your words "Gaffney is also the hometown of"..and.."Andie Macdowell" here, sfp. (...'cause I don't know if it's that makeup brand she's pushed on TV for years OR maybe the groundwater of Gaffney, but that lady has looked like a million buck for YEARS now, wouldn't ya say?!...and she doesn't look like she's had "any work done", either!)
  20. "What, a, dump....I just took in the backyard." (...yeah, yeah, I know...two different Davis movies...so sue me!)
