Cover Girl is shown by TCM now and then. I taped it the last time it was shown. Great movie. Jinx Faulkenberg is in it. I used to write to her before she passed away.

Yes it is a shame that TCM doesn't purchase/rent the movie packages that were shown on tv in the 50's. I remember coming home from school and watching "Footlight Theater" that was shown locally in Baltimore. Great "B" musicals, dramas, and westerns. Where are these movies. I bet they are just sitting in some film vault doing nothing. I love TCM but feel they should only stick to the movies up to 1960. I gave up on AMC when they went to commercials and started cutting their movies.

Why doesn't TCM show the ton of older "B" musicals that were put out during the late 30's and early 40's. I remember seeing these wonderful movies when I was growing up in the middle 50's on tv. There were fun to watch, had loads of nice songs and just enjoyable. They are probably just sitting in some movie vault just doing nothing.
