  1. I have tried every search box I can find and it returns nothing for "The china syndrome" Please search for me and let me know if the movie is being shown again soon... Thanks Bill
  2. I can't do a search for a movie. Each time I tap "search", it just goes to another page and says to enter a search term.... Any one else?
  3. Looks like Errol Flynn's mustache....
  4. 1956 DVD (mixed) All Humphrey Bogart's that have been available (74?) All Hitchcock since 1929....
  5. Thank you all for your excellent answers to my question. I do enjoy the B's and the inbetweens quite a bit. First I want to be told a good story. Then I want actors that don't stumble over the furniture and preferably in B/W. I appreciate the education you have provided. Bill
  6. I see Malton's reviews have the term "programmer" used often. Exactly what does programmer mean? I have looked this up and all explanations have to do with computer programmers.
  7. Here's my list: Body and Soul (1931) The Man in Possession (1931) Jimmy the Gent (1934) Midnight (1934) The Dark Angel (1935) The Prisoner of Shark Island (1936) Destry Rides Again (1939) Tower of London (1939) Blue Bird (1940) Western Union (1941) Kid Glove Killer (1942) The Great Gildersleeve (1942) Gung Ho! (1943) The Suspect (1944)? The Naughty Nineties (1945) Body and Soul (1947) Brighton Rock (1947) Ride the Pink Horse (1947) T-Men (1947) Force of Evil (1948) Moonrise (1948) Pitfall (1948) Raw Deal (1948) Road House (1948) Ruthless (1948) Beyond the Forest (1949
  8. Here it is in it's glory.... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460829/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_16 Inland Empire (2006)
  9. The Accidental Tourist (1988) is the one for me. It runs 2hours and when I looked at my watch about half way through, I was really surprised it wasn't at the 4 hour mark. Ordinary People also qualifies.....
  10. I would like to see a note on each movie scheduled something like this. "The actors are not speaking english". It would be a lot faster to my own list of movies to be watched. I don't watch silent movies or non english speaking movies because I have never figured out how to watch the movies and read the dialogue at the same time. Especially when the printing is on the same color background. Ever try to look in the Database to try to figure out if the actors are speaking english? It's evidently a secret.
  11. I've been waiting for a long time to record this movie. Wouldn't you know, my DVD disk died at 1:18. Of course, it's not sched again. Sigh....
  12. Here Here and Amen, slatonf. One of my favorites from years past. If memory serves, when mentioning his wife it was "She who must be obeyed" :^0
  13. Country singer Clint Black is a dead ringer for Roy Rogers.
  14. Bogie died in '57 Thanks for your picture postings....I really enjoy them and I make a game out of it by trying to remember their names befor looking a the caption...
  15. I really enjoyed Brando in "The Missouri Breaks" and I've been watching for One Eyed Jacks for quite a while. TCM Programmers seem to like his early scratch and mumble stuff......
