I though THE CLOCK was a well-told story with characters who we learn about as the characters learn about each other. But reality? Watch THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES to see what happens to the whirlwind romance marriages after the war.

I did recognize one, SansFin--
They did a very good cover of it.

Cinematic in style was Mary Tyler Moore's house in Minneapolis
And a few years back, it was put on the market, asking over 2million, because of extensive upgrading and remodeling to look more like a place where Mary Richards would live. I don't know if they got the asking price.

h4. Mary's apartment was supposedly behind the third floor windows.

Perfection, SansFin! LOL

Your music choices are better than the evening cocktail, mw and SansFin.
You found the link I wanted, mw, Thank You.
Now, SansFin, I loved your choices and indeed they would be quite the workout.. and I had been given a better view of Soviet entertainment, is that correct? Is that what we are seeing? Please tell.
Here in the capitalist West, all we saw of Soviet culture was represented in a commercial from the Reagan era:

Pardon, but being from the northern Midwest, I think you may have confused Cedar Rapids IA with Rapid City SD.
I got curious about that abode myself, so I looked it up and came upon this fascinating article about it.

I have heard the Titanic song once before, and personally found the style so irritating I couldn't keep listening. sorry..
I know some don't care for the following, for it is so long, but for me and my personal history, this is so true to the fashion of the Great Lakes, especially Superior. And Gordon Lightfoot is a singer I can listen to.

I knew there was a kitten in LOVE LETTERS. Non-speaking role.

Another favorite home is the cottage at Longreach in LOVE LETTERS.

I hadn't heard them, so I found a couple of their recordings. The songs I picked are heartfelt and hopeful, and to me they seem to be a definitive "blue-eyed soul"
Magnificent Men:
They are very good. Still performing from what I gather.

Although not much is seen I would love to live in the home where Lady Hamilton lived with Lord Nelson in That Hamilton Woman

at the 7:30 through 10:20 mark, approx; more interiors.
