  1. Why, ty stl! Wish my brain could remember other things as well
  2. YIPPEE!!!! BTW stl...I haven't been playing long (as you know) so you can always "do" a movie you did before I came. And as far as the others are concerned, just change a few hints Oh, and I loved that clue "They're coming to get you Baaah-buraaaaaaa" ****! K...my turn... Hint#1: An old (large) house
  3. Well stl, my grandma came over for coffee this morning so I haven't even had a chance to read todays trivia question yet....I came straight in here first!
  4. Wait I think I know this!! It's one of my nutty uncle's favorite movies!!
  5. "The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming!" ??
  6. Well, I'm drawin' a major blank here so I'll just say "Miracle on 34th St." for another clue....
  7. "The Seven Samurai".....too far east?? (maybe I'm not as well rounded as ya think....hehehe)
  8. Mornin' stl! I'm here if ya feel like playing. Start up a round or let me know if you want me to.
  9. A few lines from The Ten Commandments (starring Charlton Heston). When Yul Brenner says to Edward G. Robinson "Now speaks the rat that would be my ears", and when the "voice" is describing the flight out of Egypt and finishes with ".......and also very many cattle". Don't know why but it cracks me up
  10. I agree with you nickdimeo on the "Oh I'm OK, he only winged me" thing. And isn't funny that it's almost ALWAYS the shoulder??
  11. Am I the kiss of death around here? When I first started playing this game there were many others joining in. Do I need to start usin' Scope?
  12. I'm sorry 'bout that loralie. I meant for you to copy and paste that address into your browsers "search" box. Should have explained myself Anyway, if you haven't already found it yourself, I did find a movie titled New Orleans starring Louis Armstrong and His Band & Billie Holiday. I haven't seen this particular movie...so I can't be sure if this is the one you were referring to.
  13. I just read through all the previous posts and I have to agree that many of the films mentioned are definite tearjerkers. "Penny Serenade", "Dark Victory", "An Affair to Remember" (to name a few) all leave me with tears streamin' down my face. NOW, I'm gonna be brutally honest here and let ya'll know one of my all time tear-jerkin' movies. "King Kong". Every time I watch that movie ('33 or '76 versions...'33 being my favorite) I cry my eyes out when he bites it in the end. The 1976 version was one of the first movies I ever saw in a theater (I was five years old) and I remember when my parents, brother and I left the theater I silently cried all through dinner afterwards. I saw the 1933 version a few years later and it got to me the same way. I just always feel so bad for Kong. He wasn't in his element...shouldn't have been taken from his home. The other night my husband was channel surfin' and the '76 version was on. It was towards the end of the movie and I told him to turn it off! LOL! I didn't want to go to bed cryin' about Kong
  14. Oops! Noticed you mentioned two movies stl....the correct one was Giant
  15. I'll give another one.... Hint#6: A southern belle
  16. Yup....I'm here folding laundry. Not "Band of Angels". Hint#5: An initial
  17. CORRECTION- When I gave the clue for #1 I should have probably said mansion, not house.
