  9. I was browsing through older topics and this one caught my eye. I would have to say that Elizabeth Taylor did an outstanding job of portraying a neurotic in her roll as Susanna Drake in Rain Tree County. The dolls that she always had to have with her....very creepy. And her "freakout" on the grounds of her childhood plantation in front of her husband John Shawnessy (Montgomery Clift). Even the music in that scene was disturbing. On a funny note, I just called my mom to find out who her favorite neurotic is (she is a classic movie fan and we always talk about what's goin' on in this forum) and I assumed she would pick an actor. She said "Well, I guess that would have to be your aunt P**". Cracked me up....
  10. Well I looked for it on the IMDB and here's what I found: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0039655/ Could be the one you are asking about?
  11. Good topic stlgal! I feel the same way about most of the aforementioned peeves. Especially the driving one....makes me nervous when they don't watch the road - I'm always waitin' for an accident. Oh, and the food thing mongo mentioned drives me nuts too...I always feel like sayin' "Shut up and eat!". Here's a list of my personal peeves... #1. Fainting. So many movies have a scene were a woman puts her hand to her brow, sighs, and quietly faints. First of all, I've never fainted in my entire life BUT if I were to do so I'm sure it wouldn't be very graceful. I don't care what traumatic experience is goin' on in my life, the last thing I'm gonna do is fall on my face. Oh, and I'll throw "swooning" in too. How many of you ladies out there have ever "swooned"? The only allowance I'll give for the fainting/swooning thing is if the woman is wearing a corset. If I had to wear one of the suckers I'd probably pass out too. #2: Tiny waists. For example whenever I watch Gone with the Wind Scarlett's 18" waist just makes me so jealous...er...I mean sick #3: People who actually stay in a house that has a ghost or an evil presence. Unless it's Casper count me out. I'm sure I'll think of more later!
  12. Hey there path! You got it!! Way to go! It was a tuba, remember? You're up!

  15. Nice to see I'm not alone in here stl Oh, and "House of the Seven Gables" isn't it. Hint#5: Damsel in distress
  16. Good Morning! Nope...not The Family Jewels. Hint#4: Prone to acts of violence
  17. Well, I'm feelin' REALLY alone in here. I'm starting to think the "problem" is back. I'll give one more clue for now and check back later... Hint#3: A large instrument
