I assume this movie was based on a true story that took place in Scourie, Ontario. I live in Ontario and have never heard of the Town of Scourie, tried to Google it and nothing came up. There does not seem to be much information about it even though it was filmed on location, but this was before my time. Twink

I was surprised to see Harry Morgan in 'Downt to the Sea in Ships'. He was very young at the time but did not look any different, I thought then he does in Mash. Sad to see him die in the movie. :0 Twink
