  2. dp took my line of I Hate you, quite often followed after I Love You, but another frequently used word is TAXI! ,someone hailing a cab of course. Twink
  3. Certainly looking forward to watching this movie since I live in Canada as well as watching the talented Greer Garson. Soo surprised to see that Agnes Moorehead is playing the part of a Nun, ecspecially since she is the daughter of a Presbyterian Minister no less ! I could see Greer playing a Nun, given that she is Irish. Thank You for your information, it is very much appreciated. Twink
  4. Scandal At Scourie (1953) is another one of these movies that not only have I not seen it, but unfortunately not even heard of it until your kindly post ! I would be curious to know, since the movie takes place in Canada if it was actually filmed in Canada and if so where? Also, do you have any idea when it will be shown? Thank You Twink
  5. I stayed up 'till 2AM doing searches to no avail :| I kept thinking about you and knew you could ID her instantly, sure enough, you did ! Twink

  8. I keep getting a red X in a box with ALL of Dothery's posts... Certainly a small pic would be better Twink
  9. Is anyone else getting a RED X instead of a pic. or am I the only one? :| Twink
  10. Thank you for your reply, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Down to the Sea in Ships is certainly one of those movies I will never get bored watching. I loved the scene between Gene Lockhart and the school teacher and did a bio on him. Imagine my surprise to see he was born in London, Ontario. I went to school in London, small world ! Twink
  11. Just wondering if you were getting Dothery's pics of That face...I keep getting a Red X and I am now wondering if this is part of the on going problem..... Twink
  12. I am not able to get the schedule either, that would be the Canadian Schedule and as well have been experiencing odd problems with Internet Explorer. I tried to access LL Bean's Site and Internet Explorer would not let me access it, just lot's of strange nuances seem to be happening and I do not know what to make of it ! Twink
  13. Well now, you're the Real Hero since you always get them Right (I know you don't want to hear that since you're soo modest)
  14. The title was also taken from a Silent Movie by the same title starring Clara Bow. I wonder why and what the correlation was if any. Twink
  15. Maybe he will return some day. Oh, that's soo sad, let's think positive here.... Twink
  16. Was the Title explained? The title was somewhat explained by Robert O. as the previous title of a silent movie starring Clara Bow . Hope this is of help to you Twink
  17. That was my first thought too, that the tittle was odd. It would be interesting to find out how they came up with that title. I highly recomend this movie, it is a pleasant unexpected surprise, filled with life's lessons, something which is greatly missing in today's movies. It is truly what I often refer to as a 'feel good' movie, only to be found in the Classics. Barrymore is outstanding in this movie and certainly gives a Academy Award performance. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did and am (watching it Again right now, that's how muchI like it) Twink
  18. How ironic, I not only watched it but also recorded it and am watching it right now, that's how much I liked it! I find it to be a very 'homey' movie, just a joy to see it! Twink
