  1. Maybe if Adam Lanza's mother had introduced him to Hardy Movies (as 'corny' as that may seem) instead of guns, what happened in Newtown would have been prevented! Who knows ??
  2. John Garfield ? (He would have been my first guess )
  3. Yeah, show us more nose, KD (not yours though)
  4. God no, anything but.....today was a good day with all Barbara Stanwyck movies, spoiled I guess. Thank God I recorded them and will watch them over again...Why soo many Kildare movies in one day is beyond me!
  5. Sorry TopBilled, you will never convince me either that it is a noir! I think FredC said it best, "it is an example of the end of old-style film noir type b&w photography" SCHINDLER'S LIST does not fall in the noir category at all.
  6. Oh KD, Wrong again!! Dwight was much better looking then Spiro
  7. Spelling your name wrong does not compare to your inappropriate language !
  8. :^0 Wow, another can't stop laughing post ! :^0
  9. :^0 LOL,... can't stop laughing :^0
  10. Whoah, Daurrill, such strong language! Leonard Maltin is a professional critic, it is his job to criticize. I'm sure he has never used the kind of language you do in his criticism !
  11. ..everyone of them had commercials which did not dampen my enthusiasm for many of the showings... That maybe that back in the day of B&W TV there were also commercials, however, they did not last nearly as long as they do today, nor were they annoyingly loud and blairing. They tended to be more in the keeping with the programs themselves and therefore blended in, unlike commercials today.
