I signed it RM. This is not only important for us ONTARIANS but Americans as well. If you remember, the late Elwy Yost had hours & hours of interviews with a lot of Stars including, Stars from way back when, like Grear Garson , etc. These interviews were never made available in the US and are part of history! You might say Elwy Yost was the original Robert Osborne (although EY's interviews were a lot longer & much more in depth then RO's)...who knows, maybe TCM got their ideas from Elwy Yost! -twinkeee

Who can forget Patty McCormack in THE BAD SEED? She was BRILLIANT and certainly made that movie!

As far as a Modern Actor playing Petraeus, I'd have to say there is certainly a great deal of resemblance between PETRAEUS & PEE WEE HERMAN! If you think not, then can you think of any actor who actually looks MORE like Petraeus then Pee Wee Herman......they both have those "Birdie Features'...same build

Let's face it, TMZ and such would not be able to keep up to the ongoing coverage and changing events like CNN is doing. This is more interesting then any TCM Movie right now! As far as who would play the twins in a movie, well they do look a lot like the Kardashian sisters, that would be a start.

Funny you should mention that as I too have been both following the events as they are unfolding what seems to be 'minute by minute' and all along have been thinking, like you, wouldn't this make a fascinating movie?

I thought it was very romantic. Could it have been better?..Of course! Any movie can be better..it is what you take away from it that counts!

Funny, I just got through watching Miriam Hopkins in THE STORY OF TEMPLE DRAKE where all through the movie I had the same thoughts about how she was a one-of-a kind actress and very much underated....I felt she carried the movie, without her it would not have been the same. You could actually feel her emotions.........

Soo looking forward to seeing Double Indemnity...have not seen it in years, wish TCM would show such movies like North By Northwest less often (not that I do not like it), just seems it is always on and other movies like Double Indemnity and such are rarely shown........Thank You for the Post!
