  1. jcf, did we ever hear back from you ?... babes'.....maybe his date didn't go to well and he doesn't want to talk about it.... Twink
  2. Oh, we Know you could go On & On & On & On ....almost like the ENERGIZER BUNNIE' B-) ..of course you know...'I"M pulling your tail ", (pardon the pun )
  3. THIS will be all I am going to say about this matter. No, 'Really" ?.....You mean,... you mean,.... You're 'actually' at a LOSS of Words??? Not the great Dargo!!!!
  4. ..know what I mean, jellbean.. Yes, I know exactly what you mean, and of course, I agree. An open dialogue between 'Bob 'n Molly' where each voiced their own opinion certainly would have been much more interesting ! Perhaps that is why 'Daddy-O' squirmed in his chair, (ever so slightly), because he was just 'itching' to tell Molly what he really 'thought' ! ....either, that or he had an itch of a ' different ' kind ! Twink
  5. ' Daddy-O ' is definitely the Master when it comes to interviewing ! Certainly, that was evident when he intervied Kim Novak...he has a way of 'bringing out the best' in a person and let the interviewee do the talking. Cannot imagine him 'Ever' saying, "No, sorry, I disagree... PS..... All this 'to do' about chain & chained,.... who cares if he trips up on his words now and again, ...he's ' Adorable' ! Twink
  6. "affected" manner of speaking... ...precisely ! As others have pointed out, there did not seem to be any chemistry between "Bob 'n Molly", (not that it mattered, it's not as if they were in a movie together'! ) , however, I sensed ..' one upmanship' on Molly's part, and RO... squirming 'ever so slightly' in his chair ! Anyone else notice that? Twink
  7. I think she has a slight "Una Merkel" sound to her voice.. I thought she had a slight,... "I went to 'Sarah Lawrence College' !..so there!!! " ... sound to her voice. Twink
  8. ...last paragraph, chapter 9 ... ...true, it's not exactly '50 SHADES OF GREY' ! Twink
  9. Miles, your reply of FRANKIE THOMAS went to the wrong poster'. I believe I got that one correct. As well, can you please confirm my win of BUD COLLYER on Face ll. Thanks Miles, Twinks
  10. ...and, yes, ...I found that Mary Astor to be too 'wooden'. I don't care what anyone says, she came across as a 'schoolmarm',... the only thing she had missing were 'glasses' ! Twink
  11. I love the lines, "Can I buy you with my body?" His reply, "I'll think it over."...is actually Very Funny! Twink
  12. OMG...'try as I might', I cannot pronounce, .........."Raaaah-aye-lph!!!! :0 Twink
  13. ( which really aren't all that risque in the first place ) ...maybe not by today's standards, but one would assume, that probably back then they were considered somewhat risque. Either way, the characters in the movie seemed to have a perfect 'fit' to one another and certainly the women had much more chemistry. Let's face it, it is 'chemistry' that lights up the screen. Mary Astor may have been a good actress, but unfortunately, she did not have the "It" factor . Twink
  14. ...by 'Good money', I didn't mean Canadian $$$$ Twink
  15. (...just ONCE I'd love to hear her attempt to say, "Oh Raaalph"!) ....Pay her Good money Dargo and maybe she will ! Twink
  16. Since drinks will be served, it can't be an on-line party. If 'Only', eh finance ! Twink
  17. ThelmaTodd wrote: ..Cortez was almost always smiling throughout his performance ! ..Of course he was always smiling throughout his permormance.....he had 3 Dames on the go at all times ! Twink
  18. WOMAN OF THE YEAR (1942)....Very Romantic ! Love the scene where Hepburn and Tracy are in the back of a taxi where she 'snuggels her head in his chest' and he tells her he loves her and of course, they kiss passionately ! The chemistry between the two is so obvious in this scene ! Clearly, this is a "good classic movie to watch on a first date"! Twink
  19. Right On Eh!, Blu ...as well as Alexis Smith who was fabulous in OF HUMAN BONDAGE (1946) Twink
  20. ....."Noir et BLANC"??? Sounds like the name of a 'cheap' bottle of Vino !. ..of course Not French wine, there's no such thing as 'cheap' French wine ...must be one of those 'cardboard ' Vintage 2012 1/2 Specials...... Twink
  21. .....I pointed that the choice of movie , in the long run, might NOT matter a BIT ..which proves what I have been saying all along, "It's the person you are with that Matters!...Not the movie ! ...of course, Dargo will have a joke about that, something about the "Insides" or something Twink
