  1. The mere fact that you got to talk to her and she DID agree to meet you for a drink, that is something in itself ! You will always have those memories PS Bet you would not have worn your Green Leisure Suit for that drink ...but , then again... Edited by: twinkeee on Jun 7, 2013 7:22 PM
  2. I would have called her anyway, but 'that's water under the bridge' and everything has it's reason. Look at it this way, you probably saved yourself a lot of heartache if she went on to marry 6 times...
  3. I saw her on THE VIEW a few years ago. At the time. she talked about a possible remake of THE SUMMER OF '42 , of course, it never happened.
  4. WOW!!!!.....I'm Impressed ! That IS interesting!!.... You could have been ex-husband #2, #3, etc. What stopped you from following through with a date ?
  5. Yeah ! Saving my Canadian $$$ just so I could see you at Chippendale's (Green leisure suit no less , what were you thinking ?) :0 ....and I suppose it was 100% Polyester ! Wait ! ....You weren't the Guy with his shirt Undone, and Hairy Chest & Heavy Gold Chains ! :^0 PS.... I take it you were 'No' John Travolta !!...at least he had enough sense to wear a 'White' LEISURE Suit !
  6. Christie was extremely funny on Letterman (he brought a hamburger with him on the show), it was a side of him I had never seen of him before, but then I have to admit, I'd hardly ever seen him before except on the News. I 'adore' a sense of humor in a man, so much more important then his 'weight' ! ...can't believe a 'sense of humo'u'r didn't work for you, even when you were a 'Chippendale' in your red Wal-Mart vest ?
  7. Yes, I heard about his "surgery'........although when he was on Letterman (prior to his surgery), he claimed his wife did not have a problem with his weight ! I guess she felt it was what was 'inside' that mattered .....
  8. ...where they agree to meet at the top of The Empire State Building,,, ...nowadays, they probably meet at the nearest McDonalds, so un-romantic...
  9. 4% body fat won't do...I like men who have some padding, easier to snuggle with...
  10. Oh Dargo, You are just too funnie'..I am laughing tears :^0 and, no, it is not about "the colon and the gallbladder" :^0 Twink
  11. ..if she really likes you, she won't give a damn what you show her.. ...that is so true, it is the person you are with that counts, Not the movie... Twink
  12. <.... gotta ask here. You're Canadian, RIGHT ? > Yes, I am and you are right, the American 'lingo' is rubbing off on me, doubt if "The Crown'" is concered about it, they have enough problems....Eh !
  13. LOL :^0 ...I doubt if Fred dates women from the 'SHADY GLEN REST HOME" Twink
  14. Yes, YOU'VE GOT MAIL is the one where they send emails and not know the other person. They plan to meet on top of the Empire State Bldg., but things get srewed up (same as the scene in AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER and it is my understanding that is where the remake comes in. Twink
  15. .<...be the "Goofy One"! > Ah !..that explains why you wore the Red 'Wal-Mart Vest' ...no wonder you only took in ' quarters ' ! :| or Canadian $$$ (same thing )
  16. < Why Fred ! You've NEVER mentioned before you once dated Gloria Steinmen!!! > Oh, that is So Funny !!! :^0
  17. .....you mean, becoming a Chippendale Dancer didn't change you?! :|
  18. < ..wanted to impress her with THEY SHOOT HORSES, DON'T THEY? > ...only you could screw up so badly, Dargo! :^0 Twink
