No, he's much more handsome now...some men look better when they are older B-) I know he's 80, but he looks better then most men who are 50-60 ! It doesn't even look like him in that pic :| Twink

Where is that pic ? I would love to see it.. Twink

WOW. RO was a **** in his yourger days... ....he still IS a '****'.... Twink
-
Hmmm......Wonder if the same thing is True in Reverse ? I think Not !...women think with their hearts, whereas, men, well... Twink
-
....then how do you explain where at the end he says to Katie, "Yes, I know it is you !"
-
...you ain't my wife, but you'll do !" Funnie' ...all that was said at the very beginning when he wasn't sure it was Kate... <what he said at the end is just stuff men say to women Blah Blah Blah > You're kidding, right? ...Of course he knew it was Kate, if nothing else by her personality alone...If her cousin knew it was her, then certainly the husband would have known....
-
..he said he was still going to leave her... He said that at the start, at some point, obviously, he realized she was Kate or he would not have said to her (at the end of the movie), "Yes, I knew it was you!" What we do not know is at what POINT did he know it was her...
-
She DIDN'T fool him... He clearly states, "I knew it was you all along !" Even her cousin stated he knew it was her all along.. Twink
-
Then how was she able to fool the other one's husband ? ...because men can be 'Blind' sometimes.. Seriously, she 'DIDN'T' Fool him...in the end, he said to Kate, "I knew it was you all along." So you see, she never did " Fool" him... Twink Edited by: twinkeee on May 1, 2013 1:03 PM

I thought Bette did an excellent job portraying both sisters and I had No problem recognizing 'which one was which'. There difference in clothing style and there hair styles made it quite easy to distinguish the two. As well, one was more outgoing then the other, much more flirtatious. Twink

It's from the Blanche Deveraux Morning Collection. ...at least Blanche showed more Flair in her Caftans....Lana looked like she was trying not to trip while 'working' it on the stairs... Twink -

...John boy? :| Twink -
Don't feel bad...I thought 'Jeb' was a good old country boy's name, but as Usual, I was Wrong! I envy people who are 'right' all the time, but one has to wonder, as Dr. Phil would say; "Just how much fun are you to be with"? Twink

It takes more then a 'corset' to be thin.... ...like, working out maybe? -
I've never heard of anyone named "Jett" Maybe not, but then there's always the name 'Jeb'....as a good down home country boy name.

BITTERSWEET LOVE could easily be a reality TV show and no one would 'bat an eyelash', and yet, when we see a movie on the subject (incest) it seems so taboo.... Twink -

"diffusion filters"...hide lines in older actors.. Unfortunately, the fillters did not hide the bags under Lana Turner's eyes., nor did the Caftan she wore hide the pounds she had gained.. -

I really wanted tosee a scene where Lana visits the baby. Yes, I thought that too, very odd, instead they showed a scene where Holme visits Birney in the hospital and they hug, I don't think that even she saw the baby...maybe they showed Holme instead of Lana because she only had a couple of scenes. That movie had so much potential, would make a great re-make! Twink -

Yes, I thought the acting for the most part was very good. I think Lana Turner 'carried' the movie and how Holme had such a small part is beyond me. This movie certainly had a lot of potential if only the lighting and film shots had not been so bad! I did think the same thing as you, what are the chances of this happening accidentally in real life! As far as it actually happing in some cultures, I think that is more true of 'cousins', especially in past centuries with Royalty. Twink -
