Maybe you can help me then. I remember a line describing how to get to the house as being "the station after Wilton on the Danbury spur (railroad)" or something like that. I can't remember who says it and where in the movie. It's not in the copy I have and I haven't heard it on TV the last few times I've seen it. Was I hallucinating?
Also, I read on another site that the character was based on Gladys Taber, but my mother says it was Poppy Cannon. Ms Cannon used to live near Georgetown, CT, which was the stop after Wilton back then (and had a war materials factory). Hence the reason why I remembered the line.
