So It's time to be gettin' in tune to the straight and narrow?
But you'll have to excuse me cuz I was just bangin' on my old piano.

Ted Turner hasn't had anything to do with TCM since the mid-1990's
Well, he began Turner Classic Movies in April 1994. Not much of a honeymoon was it?
-
I think he still owns his huge ranch, with lots of buffalo.
Even more quixotic, Turner employs five Bills to wrangle the buffaloes.
-
I believe he walks across the screen in front of Marion Crane's car while she's stopped at a light.
Is that the scene where Mort Mills takes the cake?
-
. WHAT BOTHERS ME MOST IS HE STANDS THERE STONE FACED & SAYS WHAT WAS WRITTEN FOR HIM.
Whoa! Stop the Presses! Has Bud Grant taken over hosting duties for the redoubtable R.O. on the Turner microwaves?

The question in question was not really a question unless you consider a rhetorical question legitimate.

It's the story of how the west was won, natch.

Some are only far away and some are far far FAR away.
And sometimes, the Ayes have it.

Another thread created to incite Sturm und Drang from Leo. Ah, some things never change.

TCM gets away with this crud too often.
Have you actually seen the Le Havre to make a judgment that it is crud?
Or are you just waxing on, waxing off, Danielsun?

Sorry, but if you're going to complain about Mankiewicz getting it wrong, then you ought to get it right yourself.
Acutally, jcutie never did pronounce the word. They simply spelled it out, so it's anybody's guess how they would pronounce it. N'est-ce pas?
-
BM just can't hack it and doesn't have the charm or savoir faire that RO does.
The cat they call Mank does not have the nimbleness nor the gravitas of dear R.O. He lacks a certain intangible quality, a certain je ne sais quoi, perhaps a chic that R.O. has in spades. Le Freak C'est Chic. C'est la vie.

There are many Stars from Canada, especially Stars from back in the day, like James Mason
Actually, James Mason was born in Yorkshire, England.

Looks like Lee Purcell.

I'm still hoping the TCM elves will dig deep in to their black bag and pull out these never aired, as far as I can tell, titles.

Colorful Guatemala (1935)
Historic Mexico City (1935)
St. Helena and its Man of Destiny (1936)

Was the Dodger who bleeds blue, Tommy Lasorda, present?

There ya go. I love bagels too. Had one this afternoon.
I wonder if cops eat so many donuts in order to fill a void in their lives?

Instead of ribald behavior, Shirley Jones has to take solace in listening to her Vivaldi records.

Perhaps there is a ghost in his machine?

I'm inclined to think it is aligned. Must be the alkaline batteries I'm using. Wonder if Al Kaline has any problems with his alkaline batteries.
LOL
