There's this movie I really liked when I was a kid, it's a classic comedy, probably late '40s. The plot is as follows: a wealthy young man's father is dying and he wants to meet his son's fiancée before he dies. Since his fiancée is away, the son brings a girl he met in a hotel and introduces her as the fiancée, figuring that his father doesn't have much time. However, the father lives and wants to keep spending time with the "fiancée" so the son has to keep bringing her. His real fiancée is very jealous but there's nothing they can do since the father's life is at stake. Naturally, the movie ends with son falling in love with his fake fiancée and the father lives.
Can anyone remember the name of the movie? I'd really love to watch it again, it was one of my favorites.
