It wasn't a silent film. This was my favorite movie when I was kid ( which was about 50 years ago ). It was on television every year.I think it was on one of those late night movie shows they had at the time. I remember the title being "Pagan Love Song". I could be wrong, but that's the name I always knew the movie by.

The "Pagan Love Song" movie I remember was black and white and not a musical. I remember it being a love story between a native island girl and an American boy. It did not end in tragedy like "Bird Of Paradise" did.

Anyone else remember this movie?

 

I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid, but I don't see it listed on IMDB or any other website. I can only find "Bird of Paradise" (which also starred Paget and Chandler) or the other "Pagan Love Song" movie with Esther Williams and Howard Keel.

 

Anyone know where I can find this? Any help would be appreciated.
