Why do all the movies suddenly have audio description for the blind. Nothing has changed on either of my televisions but suddenlky every movie has annoying descriptions of the action. I would like to know why and/or how I can get rid of it. I don't know if it's TCM, or my cable company, phonoscope but I know it's not my trelevisions.

I appreciate the answer but in this case it may not apply. No settings on either of my television were changed and I don't have digital cable--just basic which plugs directly into the TV's--so I figured the problem has to be "outside the house" so to speak. What's baffling is the AD doesn't appear on any other channels nor on any other program on TCM--just the movies.
I suppose my next step will be to contact my cable provider and see if it's a problem on their end but watching Key Largo the other night I found the AD to be very annoying especially on a movie I know so well.
