It was good to see and hear Kim Novak after all these years. She remains among the most vulnerable of movie personalities and it is gratifying to learn she is not self-destructive. Viewing Bell, Book and Candle, it is abundantly clear how much of her intelligence and vulnerability she brought to her role.
