What is this obsession with that old child-beater? You keep trying to foist her off on us. I don't like her. Never did. She never had any subtlety. She bulldozed her way through every movie she ever made. Enough is enough. Please find someone new to promote.

I really wanted to see all of this but TCM really made it difficult by showing it in the wee hours of the morning. To make matters worse, this Irishman's voice keeps dropping lower and lower in volume. I can't turn the volume up and disturb my neighbors. Is there someplace online where I can access this? Or is there a DVD available? On the whole I found this a very frustrating experience.

Why is she introducing movies? Who cares what she thinks. I find her obnoxious and I don't care what she thinks. Her voice grates on me. So does her face.

Tommy Rettig, most famous for the LASSIE TV show, plays Jane Wyman's son. The baby who plays him as an infant is Jon Provost, who replaced Rettig when he outgrew the role on LASSIE. (Rettig told me this himself back in 1967.)
