Did you notice in the opening scene when Spencer Tracy walks through the door towards the camera and begins his dialogue there is a distinct set of dirty footprints on the right side of the screen that are heading out of the room back towards the door. There are subsequent scenes when he speaks from this room but the floor is not totally visible. However, at the end of the movie when he turns and leaves the room there is a faint set of footprints on the left side that appear to be entering the room (makes sense) but, the footprints that were on the right side leaving the room are no longer there.
