J-Cord

Trying to find this movie. I saw this movie on tv in the 50s.I was about 10-12 yrs old. I believe it starred Jack Carson (not Positive) The only scene I remember was the ending, the male lead was shaving, the female lead enters, the male lead nonchalantly has the female look in the bedroom, on the bed is a baby she is overjoyed. I believe they had been trying to adopt this baby? I know this is real sketchy any info would be appreciated. J-Cord
