  3. *My favorite version of "King of Kings". H.B. Warner is truly ethereal.* *Amazon has a package that contains all versions on DVD. It will set you back $34.00, though. Also the VHS tape for $8.00. Either way, it's worth the money.*
  4. You will recall that there is a scene when Juan Gallardo (Tyrone Power) gets a band with three male singers to serenade his childhood sweetheart, Carmen Espinosa (Linda Darnell). The song that is played is "Romance", also called "Spanish Romance", "Romanza", Romanza Antigua and a few other names. The melody is old and annonymous. One of the gutiar players is the well-known, Vicente Gomez, and he wrote lyrics to the meolody for the film and took credit for the whole composition. Here is a photo of the three singers: [http://users.rcn.com/weanderson/images/blood_and_sand2.jpg|http://users.rcn.com/weanderson/images/blood_and_sand2.jpg] The man on the far left is the famous baritone opera singer, Fortunio Bonanova, who appeared and performed in many films. *My question is, who are the other two singers? They are probably opera singers, but I have been unable to find out anything.* Your assistance is appreciated! Thanks very much!
