[Help! Saw Since You've Been Gone & Obsessed About!]

WWII-era film where four or five women who work in war plants and have GIs in the war, share a home. Eventually hire a housekeeper who is german. Major character is a pin-up girl from the war. One of the GI's name - who dies - is Chris. I know I will kick myself once I find the title! I'm the "guy" in our famiy that knows every title of every movie but I'm stumped. Watching "Since You Went Away" Friday night made me think of it.
