Ok, so awhile ago, I caught a romantic comedy movie on TCM about a guy who went to (I think) a college party or dance and meets this girl who ends up on TV or winning some sort of contest and she has to tell the guy a wrong name so her father won't find out she went out. So, the whole movie is him trying to track down this girl who he's only met once who gave him the wrong name. If I remember correctly, which I probably don't, it starred a famous actor in the lead.
Please help, as lame as it sounds, its driving me crazy...
