  1. Andrew, regarding your Orry-Kelly sketches, he worked longest at Warner Brothers in the 30s and early 40s. The sketch or sketches that you have from MGM could be for the film, "Les Girls" that starred Gene Kelly, Mitzi Gaynor, and others, released in 1957. Orry-Kelly was also one of three designers that worked on An American in Paris, designing the regular women's wardrobe (not the ballet scenes or Masked Ball scenes). He was working free-lance then.
