  2. I see that KNUTE ROCKNE ALL AMERICAN is airing on TCM on May 27.
  3. Anne Meara had a small but very funny role in THE OUT OF TOWNERS.

  6. I would love to see Claude Rains get a Summer Under The Stars Day this year.

  8. I wonder if there is also a movement to de-color movies that are just way too colorful for their own good?
  9. One thing I found interesting is that one of the TCM spotlight hosts used films noir as the plural rather than film noirs.
  10. Was Nancy Allen one of the girls that was mean, mean, mean to Sissy Spacek in CARRIE?
  11. Does anyone have any thoughts on SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK, the Charlie Kaufman film that starred Philip Seymour Hoffman? For me, it was one movie that I was glad when it was over.
  12. "Toads are nice." Tabitha Stephens on the Season 5 episode of BEWITCHED entitled "I Don't Want To Be A Toad, I Want To Be A Butterfly" Okay, okay, this is not really one-liner, but I love this quote from one of my favorite episodes of BEWITCHED.
  13. Does the DVD for THE RED MILL have any commentary or special features?
  14. Generally I do enjoy Summer Under The Stars more than 31 Days Of Oscar.
  15. Yes, I think if Channing Tatum and Jennifer Lawrence made a black-and-white movie, there would be an audience.
  16. I must admit I love this response.
  17. If only they could find a movie that Sterling Hayden made with Rita Morena or Russ Tamblyn to follow SO BIG that night.
  18. Maybe the title should be the men of olf Hollywood were sexier.
  19. I do have a soft spot spot for THE LEGEND OF LYLAH CLARE, which is good campy fun.
