Well I thought "Singing In The Rain" was a marvelous movie, and I stand by my theory that Debbie Reynolds liked ol' Gene's tongue down her throat! Hrrrrrmph!!

That is why I was never a Matthew Broderick fan. He is like watching a starched 2x4! Also, when I think of "screwball comedies", the last name I would think of would be his.

What was the name of that awful Joan Crawford movie from the 60's....hmmm, was it "Berzerk" and they had her paired up with I think it was Tab Hunter? Anyway Ms. Crawford had to have been at least 60 years old and was flopping around with this young man in his 20's......that's just nasty dude.

It didn't bother me, nor had I noticed that it was gone. I do miss the intro to movies and their lineup, the new one irritates me.
TCM in general seems to be in a weird kick lately, it's like they think everyone is into studying this stuff professionally or something. I just like to watch old movies, enough with the pretentiousness!

Is TCM going to be done with this "Story of Film" crap? It sucks! Who the heck wants to sit and listen to some pretentious Irish fop lisping his way through a 7489374892372394723890472389723890 "documentary".....BTW if he wants to narrate a "documentary", he should get some of his "facts" straight. He shows the scene in "GWTW" with Scarlett and her father and calls them "lovers".....and that's just for starters. Hey, I'm not a film student, I'm just a middle-aged woman that likes old movies! Show the old movies and get rid of this boring $hit!
