  8. yeah, and the others as well. The only one left that I haven't seen (that there's a good stream of) is It Had to Happen..crime drama with George Raft..just not in that mood today, but I'll get around to it. I just finished Honor Among Lovers..Claudette Colbert, Fredric March, Charles Ruggles and a small bit for Ginger Rogers. Dorothy Arzner directed..pretty good, especially Colbert. Monroe Owsley overplays role of her whiny hubby, and Rogers is a scatter brain girlfriend of Ruggles, who's perfect as the nonchalant, idle rich pal.
  9. I was in the mood for My Sister Eileen, but found a Rosalind Russell film I'd never seen, or even heard of...This Thing Called Love. And with Melvyn Douglas to boot! The plot is so-so, but good cast (Allyn Joslyn, Binnie Barnes, Lee J. Cobb...) and an interesting rustic/stone house that evidently made such an impression on Ronald Reagan, he used it as a model for his own home. Worth watching just for Russell and Douglas..I love finding new/old films with actors I like.

  17. 1958's The Blob was a lot more fun (even the extras were smiling) than the 1988 remake, with special effects and more gore added... The Last Man on Earth (1964) was based on Richard Matheson's novel, I Am Legend and got a mention in the trailer of 1971 remake, The Omega Man and finally used it's original title in the 2007 remake, I Am Legend
  18. These aren't actors who may be 'known for their charm' (actually, I think only of Cary Grant in that category..), but here are a few I think of as having on-screen charm... Audrey Hepburn Doris and Rock had it Melvyn Douglas Jean Arthur Warren Beatty
  19. The Wedding March (1928) the March family in Little Women (1933)

But I have Hulu and get both feeds, east and west, of TCM...and if you want to watch what's on the tcm app film list, just make TCM a favorite on Hulu, click it...and all the films on the app are there to stream., so you get the same stuff as you did on the app
