  3. Since I mentioned it in Classic Categories, I'm re-watching Brighton Beach Memories.  Interesting how Neil Simon's 'remembrances' are so similar to Woody Allen's in Radio Days, right down to the aunts/cousins living with them (and those aunts dating a neighbor with problems).

searched for the pilot episode in the list at Uncle Earl's. That's the one that I really want to see. Have you ever found it online?

I've watched it on Hulu...let's just say Carl Reiner was VERY smart to re-cast and re-tool the show...it's pretty awful.  There's a colorized version of it on youtube...I tried posting the link here but the whole thing popped up...just  search: Head of the Family 1961 Carl Reiner

For all the Millennials championing "their" Internet and saying "Who needs Digital and disk?  You can find everything on YouTube now!", I always ask, "So, then, you LIKE watching your movies sped-up, with reduced volume, in a 1/3 postage-stamp  corner of the screen, with a 'glaucoma' blur-filter over it?"

Don't be silly....I'm older than the millennials, and even I know there are places like Willtv, MusicHQ and others to stream tv dvd rips...and of course, with a lot of iptv providers, you get hundreds of 24/7 streams of the oldies...nobody should  sit through bad copies/ads.  Yesterday I watched Once Upon a Time..In Hollywood and Peggy Sue Got Married using the same Nova apk.  Tonight, I'm thinking Perry Mason..and I won't be wading through youtube.

  8. Been watching Good Morning World (Roku channel)...up to episode 5.  Cute comedy, with a very young Goldie Hawn and always wonderful Billy De Wolfe in supporting roles.  They have quite a few oldies free-to-stream...Gidget, Ellen, Patty Duke Show, Head of the Class, Suddenly Susan....some like Dobie Gillis, NewsRadio only have a couple seasons.
