  1. Needless to say I was very happy to see that my movie request was approved with the airing of Twelve O'Clock High back on 02/08/14. Thanks TCM!
  2. Yes, count me in, too. I recall seeing this happen before. Without the Genre Headings being displayed, it it alot harder to look through the on-line schedule. The way it currently is, it is not user friendly. Please fix this TCM.com ASAP Thanks
  3. Battleground Holley: That's P.F.C. to you, major, as in praying for civilian
  4. Kelly's Heroes OddBall: ....Look, baby, I'm kinda hung up. I need sixty feet of bridge. Oddball: Don't hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning. Think the bridge will be there and it will be there. It's a mother, beautiful bridge, and it's gonna be there. Ok?
  5. I believe that Twelve O'Clock High is by far the best WWII Air Bomber Combat movie ever made from the American POV. It has a all-star cast which includes Gregory Peck. Command Decision (1948) staring Clark Gable, Walter Pidgeon, Van Johnson and Brian Donlevy is also a really good movie however, I think Twelve O'Clock High is better since it is more focused on the crews members and not the "high brass" calling the shots. Also thanks to offering up the links to watch It's a Wonderful Life however, I am not a fan of watching movies on my computer. I was forced to watch It's a Wonderful Life on a different channel this year that had commercials; boy do I hate commercials especially if they are cut into the showing of a movie. It sure takes away from the over-all enjoyment! Years ago, I use to be a AMC fan until they started cutting commercials into the showing of their movies, so now I don't even have that channe
  7. Within the couple of years I have noticed that TCM has not aired such Christmas classics as It's a Wonderful Life or The Christmas Story. For example, if you look at this year's Christmas time schedule, TCM aired such Christmas classics as Shop Around the Corner, Christmas in Connecticut, In the Good Old Summertime, at least 3-4 times during the month of December however, It's a Wonderful Life and The Christmas Story were not aired even once. Does anyone know why this is? I am sure that I am not the only one who would love to see these Christmas Classics aired on TCM especially during th
  8. Two favorites of mine are the soundtracks from the movies The Blues Brothers and O Brother where art thou.
