I know I saw it on TCM maybe 3 or 4 years ago. It was Black and White. I remember it had something to do with ballet. There was one number where the male lead does a song or it's more like spoken word and he's making fun of ballet- he actually mentions specific ballet terms and imitates them (I am a ballet dancer and I recognized them and thought it was very funny) I googled a lot and "On Your Toes" might be the one - the plot sounds very familiar but I can't find where to watch it. I know it had to do with Russian Ballet or possibly a French ballet company and I think an American male dancer. I hope this sounds familiar to someone. I really want to see this film or at least that number again.
