I have been trying to find the name of this movie for several years. The major plot points that I remember are the female lead started off being an indentured servant being shipped to America. While on the ship, she is auctioned off and the male lead continued to out-bid for her by a six pence. Once in America, he gave her her freedom but she continued to travel with him. The time frame was colonial America and there quite a bit of the story was set in the frontier. Thank you everyone.
