I recently watched two of Chadwick's last films.  The first, Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods I didn't care for at all.  But, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom in which he co-stars with Viola Davis is really quite good.  I wouldn't be surprised if he won the Oscar for it.

He along with others in that film have already won some minor film awards. That movie is very good, the acting is top notch.

Liberal amnesia about last summer’s riots

Joe Biden  said nothing about the riots last summer

And not one conservative mentioned how virtually every week there was a new story of an unarmed black person killed, shot or otherwise brutalized by law enforcement. What happened last summer was the culmination of decades of abuse. Over and over, week after week. Thanks to cell phones. People had had enough.   Looters just took advantage since they had nothing better to do.

The other day was all about fear. Fear of a changing future. Fear is probably the strongest emotion and fearful people will panic and do extreme things.

In November, America voted to progress into the future instead of harking back to a past that never existed. Conservatives will be brought into that future kicking and screaming is necessary. Until they realize there is nothing there to fear.

Twitter Permanently Suspends the President of the United States

As I told you would happen, President Trump, whose reelection was stolen, now has no way of communicating with his supporters as the Establishment prepares to prosecute him on false charges like Russiagate.

Is America any longer our country?

There's been so much going on that I don't know if this news has gotten out much. But the trump terrorists stormed the governors eesidence In Washington State. The governor I believe it's okay but it was quite a mess. I have not seen much about this on National Television because so many other things have occurred.

But the only way to nip this thing in the bud is to take it out at the source.

Just a few months ago, they busted a group planning to kidnap the governor of Michigan and storm the state house there. But, of course they were totally surprised by yesterday's actions

It won't end there. They'll make him a martyr. He'll never stop ranting and urging them on. This is a frankenstein's monster that is out of control.

At this point, considering how far gone he is, I don't think Trump would ever have called out the National Guard. It was Pence. But doesn't the DC National Guard only answer to the president? Which makes me wonder, maybe Pence and the cabinet have agreed to invoke the 25th amendment but are keeping it quiet until the electoral vote is certified AND daylight comes AND the capitol is secured s so that they don't have to deal with more violent mobs in the dark of night. Trump is just too unstable to trust for even two more weeks.  Several newspapers are now calling for the 25th.

But, what about the other violent mobs in statehouses all over the nation  ?

Including here in Los Angeles :

I'm afraid this is not over.

Watching Fox and generally they are pounding on Trump.    Even Martha MacCallum,  who often acts like she is clueless,   is asking the hard questions and generally one guest after another saying most of the blame for what occurs falls squarely on Trump.   E.g.  her interview with Rand Paul was good and Paul,  was very clear that he disagree with Cruz and Hawley.     That as soon as Pence said he was going to do what the Constitution called for,  and Trump sent a tweet implying Pence was part of the deep state,,,, that was the spark that made the protesters violence and try to take over the Capital.

Within an hour the Senate should vote on the so called protest measure (which Paul said was a fraud by Cruz and Hawley since it was really a measure to overturn the election, something Congress doesn't have the power to do).       It will be funny if the only clowns  voting for it are Cruz and Hawley (the other 8 deciding they need to follow McConnell).

Its like rats fleeing a sinking ship. But, its too late. This is the internet, no one forgets anything.

What you posted earlier. Whomever goes on with this charade, its siding with the terrorists. The whole theme has changed in this one day.

Do you know what happens is that it's creeping-- The Assault on American Democracy that's been going on for 4 years under trump.

When we saw those armed trump terrorists in the Michigan statehouse, that's when something should have been done nationally. They got away with that then they go to another level and this is how you end up.

But it all started with Charlottesville with this Administration. And now like Charlottesville one woman has been killed.

This is not the first time. Will it be the last ?

Change takes time. I'm sure some of these southern states will stay red. But I think many border states and states like GA with diverse populations will change.

Another major issue the GOP has is, its aging. One would be hard pressed to come up with young members of that party with national exposure. When this generation retires, not sure who would be left.

Liberals have lots of young new comers making noise.

Republican controlled states will take NO action on this type of domestic terrorist groups - these are their people.

While Trump is the chief patron, he was put into office by the Republicans who created the environment that allowed these terrorists to flourish.  The Proud Boys are only a small part of these groups.   They are still objecting to Biden's victory.

Politicians biggest fear is manifesting today. Rioting and disorder, their lives under threat. The fact that there might be copy cats is enough for them to take action.

Party doesn't matter one bit. And by the way, notice red states starting to turn blue ?

After today, these terrorist groups are more of a hindrance than a help.

following election nite were 72 solid hours of nothing but mail-in votes for biden....

I am far from convinced there was no voter fraud.

and cnn is the new msnbc.

they're one-sided HS makes trump look like fred rogers.

trump told his people to go vote in person. democrats said mail in because of covid.

That's why all the mail ins were democratic. Simple.

Guess I have to be the contrarian yet again,   but this is the best thing that could have happened.    This is the start of Trumpism's death. Yup

This small number of clowns,  will have NO impact to Biden becoming President.   (instead many will be attested, charged and convicted,  like that guy in Pelosi's office). Good

Most GOP  politicians that supported Trump's false claims will now retreat from Trump (we see GOP House members already doing this).  Its too late for that

Trump's hold on the GOP will decrease each and every week.

Trump's attempt to put Trump Jr. as head of the RNC will fail,  big time.

In 2022 GOP Senators that didn't vote to impeach Trump will face GOP primary challenges and likely lose.  Bingo !

Of course maybe I'm clueless and this event will galvanic the over 70 million that voted for Trump,  but I really don't think so.

If this had happened before the election, He never would have gotten 70 million votes. This will be the basis of every democratic campaign running for office in the coming years. They will just show scenes from today in their ads, easy victory.

Only dummies like the Proud Boys etc..  (which are a very small minority), will continue to be fooled by this sick man.

I think individual states will start to move on these domestic terrorist groups after this incident. Today is a new beginning. Their patron will be out of office in weeks. No one in power to protect them.
