what about Ed Wood's Night of the Ghouls.

-
just a great, great composer.
these are the guys that younger composers need to look to.

I found it! from 1978 a TV series of eight dramatic reconstructions called Life at Stake
ed plays jim lovell in Houston...we,ve got a problem.
I assume it was a british TV series.

and I bet ed was much better as lovell than tom hanks.

there was a british production back in the 70s based on the Apollo 13 incident.
starred Ed Bishop as Jim Lovell.
was that a BBC production?

-
looks like he woulda made a good Baron Frankenstein.

the man who defined a genre.
"nothing to it, pardner."

I doan care what anyone says.
this is unforgettable powerhouse acting by Stephen Boyd.

-
he deserves acclaim for The Oscar.
-
I forgot about ole John Carradine being in them.
I was actually thinking of...
Michael Ansara.
"animals?...
your captain crawls like one....

To pay tribute to the late comedy legend Carl Reiner, join us for a one-hour special featuring 2 beloved classic episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, which Carl created and in which he co-starred, this Friday 7/3 at 8pm/7c on CBS and...colorizing does work or CBS would not be showing colorized episodes..it adds depth, realism and lessens age. a young mary tyler moore in her black shirt and slacks.

bump.
aw come on you guys. give me the title. it's a great hot scene.

-
his best film is The Comic with Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney.
-
has a great scene but I've completely forgotten the title. the scene takes place in a restaurant. a man who looks like he has al pacino's hair but the puss of peter coyote is sitting at a table with his ex-wife.
well sir...
without getting too graphic the little minx reaches down underneath the table and lifts up his right leg, removes his sock and shoe and then she sticks his bare foot in between her legs and whoopee time.
whatta great actress. the expressions on her face are priceless.
anyone know this film? this is a mainstream 80s or 90s romantic comedy.

Debbie was likable in just about every role she did, how could one not like her?
Of course she'll always be remembered for SINGIN' IN THE RAIN or THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, but she also turned in a really great performance in her later years as Albert Brooks' ma in 1997's MOTHER.
I hated her guts in How the West Was Won.

and of course...

I would have to say Paul Newman, because Cool Hand Luke is more than him just being "cool" and beating the authority at their own game. When his mother dies it breaks him. Steve McQueen is a great actor, but I can't see him pulling those heart-wrenching scenes.
I disagree. if mcqueen could handle Henri Charriere he dam well coulda handled Lucas Jackson.

When I was a kid, I used to get these two actors confused with one another all the time. I think I even thought they were the same person at first.
I agree, though, that Newman had a bit more versatility ( and a little softer edge.)
yeah, steve was more like JOHN WAYNE!
