On her being short it reminds me of ALAN LADD & he'd always get that reaction upon people meeting him 7 obviously-(due to what happened to him in '64 at only age 50) he knew it! SHIRLEY MacLaine loved him above all & when she first met him was taken back as well & she was then just 5'6 His mother also killed herself & in his arms And before he was in the movies his nickname was tiny
tiny.

I remember this one exquisite ep where lara parker gives it her delightful all. in the foyer barnabas introduces Angelique to Roxanne Drew and Angelique responds with a quiet "why hello miss drew."
then after Roxanne departs she turns to Barnabas and gives him her patented eye zing accompanied by "sooo…..SHE is the one!"
and Barnabas just stands there with his head lowered.

I thought that ben cross was pretty damn good as Barnabas but I thought the writing was too much of a retread because after willie frees Barnabas I thought I was watching a remake of House of Dark Shadows.
I thought they were trying to sex things up for younger viewers unfamiliar with the earlier soap opera. I thought that jim fyfe's performance as willie was all wrong as john karlen never played willie as comic relief and the intro shoulda been better conceived. the old theme sounded like it was being played too subtlely and anyone could see Collinwood was a miniature which I found insulting.
maybe Curtis shoulda taken a shot at a Kolchak night stalker remake.

mark me alotta people will wonder why no ten commandments tonite because lots of people expect them to air it at easter.
ABC shoulda realized that alotta people might miss their infernal commercial-ridden airing.
I am never going to forget this. everyone at abc responsible for this year's premature misairing is on report!
ON REPORT!!!

well it slipped by me last Saturday and it's not my fault!
last weekend wasn't easter.
ABC has ruined my easter with their cruddy trick!
I hope they choke on a bad Cadbury rabbit.

I went to see it at the movies as a kid also.

I haven't seen this film in decades and don't remember much about it. It does have Faith Domergue as a doctor, which I guess makes a nice change from her previous role as a woman who turns into a vengeful snake. Domergue made four horror/science fiction films in 1955.

man was she pretty.

I once had a vinyl LP with a suite of music from chitty chitty bang bang performed by Stanley Black which was exemplary
